Biobizz Coco·Mix is a premium-quality, natural coconut fibre substrate developed to provide an optimal balance between water retention, aeration and structural stability. Its lightweight, porous composition creates a favourable root-zone environment while offering excellent versatility for different horticultural applications.
Manufactured from carefully processed coconut industry by-products, Coco·Mix represents a resource-conscious alternative to conventional growing media. During production, the coconut fibres undergo a natural decomposition process to soften their structure, followed by thorough washing, drying and shredding. This treatment produces a homogeneous, airy substrate with favourable physical characteristics.
One of the main advantages of Biobizz Coco·Mix is its ability to retain moisture while maintaining sufficient air-filled pore space. This balance supports oxygen availability around the root system and helps prevent excessive compaction.
The substrate has a relatively low electrical conductivity (EC) and a near-neutral pH, providing a flexible foundation for controlled nutrient management. Its low initial nutrient content allows precise adjustment of fertilisation according to individual plant requirements.
Thanks to its stable physical structure, Coco·Mix can be used as a standalone substrate or incorporated into other growing media to improve their aeration, moisture distribution and overall structure.
Biobizz Coco·Mix is suitable for professional horticulture, indoor and outdoor gardening, hydroponic applications and various container-based cultivation systems.
