Phosphorus and potassium become more important during flowering. The purpose of flowering is to reproduce, a large amount of genes (DNA) is created and this goes hand in hand with a high need for energy. Phosphate is used as a building block.
Potassium is key to the movement of water and nutrients from the roots to the leaves. It is also a regulator of CO2 uptake and has a significant effect on photosynthesis. From mid bloom, or when the bloom is noticeably weak, use Phosphorus Plus in combination with Bloom Complex. Why not sooner? The simple answer is that it is not needed before this point, the PK levels provided by the Bloom Complex are more than sufficient. Excessive P and K would inhibit absorption of essential minerals or even cause deficiencies.
